UPDATE 9/9! Every cruiseline with ships in the Caribbean area is closely monitoring Hurricane Irma’s path. At the time of writing, Hurricane Irma has passed over Antigua and Barbuda, Sint Maarten, BVI, USVI, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Haiti and Cuba. It is said that Irma will head north to pose threats to Florida and the Florida Keys. Here’s an overview of which cruises are affected by Hurricane Irma. Meanwhile Hurricane Jose is nearing a Category 5 status and is followings a similar path, threatening islands already ravaged by Irma. Royal Caribbean International
The following sailings are departing as scheduled and are not affected by Hurricane Irma:
- Grandeur of the Seas: September 7 New England/Canada cruise
- Liberty of the Seas: September 10 Western Caribbean cruise
- Serenade of the Seas: September 10 New England/Canada cruise
- Vision of the Seas: September 7 New England/Canada cruise
- Anthem of the Seas: September 9 Bermuda cruise
The following sailings are canceled:
- Empress of the Seas: September 9 Cuba cruise
- Enchantment of the Seas: September 8 Bahamas cruise
- Majesty of the Seas: September 8 Bahamas cruise
- Majesty of the Seas: September 11 Bahamas cruise
The following sailings are being modified:
- Allure of the Seas: September 10 Western Caribbean cruise. The new departure date will be on Wednesday, 9/13 and will be a 4-night itinerary to Nassau, Bahamas.
- Harmony of the Seas: September 9 Eastern Caribbean cruise. The new departure date will be on Tuesday, 9/12 and we will sail a 4-night itinerary to Cozumel, Mexico.
- Oasis of the Seas: September 10 Eastern Caribbean cruise. The new departure date will now be on Tuesday, 9/12 and we will sail a 5-night itinerary to Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico.
UPDATE: NEW MODIFIED SAILINGS:
- Adventure of the Seas: September 9 Southern Caribbean cruise
St. Maarten will be replaced with an overnight in Aruba. - Enchantment of the Seas: September 11 Bahamas cruise
The new departure date will be Tuesday, 9/12 and will be a 3-night itinerary to the Bahamas.
Norwegian Cruise Line
The following sailings are being modified:
- Norwegian Escape September 2 Seven-Day Western Caribbean cruise departing September 2 from Miami
- Norwegian Sky September 4 Four-Day Cuba Cruise
Both ships will shorten their trip and arrive back in Miami on Thursday September 7th.
The following sailings are canceled:
- Norwegian Sky, September 8 from Miami: three-day Bahamas cruise (ship on its way to safe waters)
- Norwegian Escape, September 9 from Miami: seven-day Eastern Caribbean Cruise (ship is in Cozumel at the moment)
- Norwegian Sky, September 11 is also canceled

Will depart Galveston on September 9 on a three port Western Caribbean cruise to Mahogany Bay, Belize and Cozumel. - Carnival Conquest – September 9 will depart Port Everglades on September 12 on a 4 day cruise to Cozumel.

The following sailings are being modified: (all are under way)
- Celebrity Equinox September 4, eleven day cruise: will skip St. Thomas and Tortola and instead visit Curacao and Martinique
MSC Cruise Line
The following sailings are being modified:
- MSC Divina current sailing will return to Miami morning of 9/7 to disembark guests wishing to get off, then continuing to Cozumel for those who wish to continue their holiday. The ship will remain in the Cozumel area until it is safe to return.
The following sailings are canceled:
- MSC Divina September 9 (so its next sailing).
Disney Cruise Line
Both Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream will arrive back at Port Canaveral on Thursday September 7, earlier than expected.
The following sailings are being modified:
- Disney Fantasy currently under way: will arrive 2 days earlier in Port Canaveral, on September 7
- Disney Dream September 4 currently under way: will arrive a day earlier than expected back in Port Canaveral, on September 7
The following sailings are canceled:
- Disney Fantasy September 9
